Application of Vitapanel Clean ECO with a Drone
In some areas, manual or machine cleaning is challenging due to long distances or hard-to-reach installations. In these cases, applying Vitapanel Clean ECO with a spraying drone offers a safe and efficient alternative. Vitapanel Clean ECO is perfectly suitable for drone application. Keep in mind that the dilution may differ from manual or machine methods. For drone use: dilute 1:10 with water.
There are two main types of spraying drones:
- Drones with nozzles
 - Drones with a rotating disk (droplet size adjustable during flight)

Drone application allows for more precise and water-efficient use of Vitapanel, while the amount of product used remains the same. It is not only safer but often more efficient if your solar panels are cleaned regularly. In some situations, initial cleaning of heavy soiling requires methods with brushing, in other cases a fast and efficient (regular maintenance) cleaning with drones will bring the desired additional energy output.
Weather Conditions and Application
- Apply Vitapanel to dry and clean solar panels, especially new panels without an oil film.
 - Apply in dry weather, with relative humidity below 80% and a temperature of at least 5°C.
 - Avoid application during rain or when rain is forecast within 12 hours, and avoid windy conditions (max. 7 km/h).
 - Adjust droplet size based on weather by setting the nozzle or rotation speed of the disk.

Preparation and Dosage
- Dilute Vitapanel Clean ECO with water (1:10)
 - Spray evenly, on dry solar panels and not during peak hours of solar intake
 - Apply when a considerable amount of rain is expected within 1–3 days

Safety
In most countries, you need to get approval from aviation authorities to fly a drone. Check your local legislation.
- In most countries, drone flights require approval from aviation authorities. Check local regulations.
 - Provide a safe take-off and landing site, and maintain visual contact with the drone.
 - For optimal safety, avoid having people near the cleaning area during application.
